Recommendations for starting searching merchants geneology

    Merchans rarely have family funds in state archives. Census materials which are keeping in variety if storages and funds are fixed source for searching and making up geneology of Moscow Merchants. Therefore it should make use with the publication of N. A. Naidernov; this book contains primary (merchant's stories) and secondary documents (rewrited books, tales told by elected merchants were written by sotskie and slobodskie heads). So it would be better to turn to the main original sources:
